Dedication
This archive grew out of many things: a love of collecting, a curiosity about history, and a desire to preserve knowledge before it disappears. None of those qualities appeared out of nowhere. They were shaped by two people who influenced my life in ways both large and small.
- From my mother came an appreciation for whimsy, creativity, and the joy that can be found in unexpected places.
- From my father came a respect for research, organization, and the value of preserving knowledge.
This archive is lovingly dedicated to my parents, Dennis and Linda McDonald, whose gifts of imagination, intellect, curiosity, and kindness helped make it possible.
