The Holt Howard Archive is the centerpiece of my research, but it is not the only place where I share my work. This two-page feature explores the history and enduring popularity of Holt-Howard Pixieware through an interview with me and photographs from my collection. It discusses the origins of the company, the development of the Pixieware line, Walter Dworkin’s guidebooks, notable forms and variations, and the collecting market as it stood in 2022.
The article also introduced a wider antiques audience to Kevin’s Pixieware Palace and highlighted the role that collectors and online communities play in documenting and preserving this whimsical ceramicware.
